I am tired of the slow speeds that att has. I was thinking of changing to Verizon. Is this a good choice or should I stay with att? If there is any other good internet provider for under $50 please post.

Get cable internet!
AT&T has a bundle that combines your internet, long distance phone and DirecTV…. you might ask about that… but Verizon is good, too….
I have AT&T and outstanding speed with almost 6 mb for the basic service….. could your modem be bad? They will replace it for free…

Depends on what you have now and where you live. Do you have cable for TV and use a different service for the phone. Example.
I had three different services. I switched to Verizon and they kept screwing me around. I switched to Comcast which has excellent service. But I also bundled my land line, TV and internet. I now pay jack squat for all three.
But in my area Comcast is offering $29.99 a month for 12 months solid for that time. Part of the thing is actually getting on the phone with an actual English speaker (not someone from India) and having them try to sign you up as a customer.
All said ATT just is not up to speed (bad pun alert) in all ways as internet is not their focus. So anybody is better.
if u hate at&t dsl then why r u goin to verizon if its also dsl???
